General information
EXFO MAX-730B-M2 is a rugged, lightweight, and handy OTDR with a 7-inch, outdoor-enhanced touchscreen and tablet-inspired design. The device is optimized to test through optical splitters up to 1x128, ensuring complete end-to-end FTTH characterization. The 1625 nm, out-of-band, live testing port enables the efficient troubleshooting of active networks without affecting the signal of other clients. Besides, this OTDR is suitable for testing single-mode access networks and single-mode fiber optic structured cabling.
This OTDR has an intuitive GUI with icon-based functions, instant boot-up, automatic macrobend finders as well as improved auto and real-time modes. The built-in battery provides up to 12 hours of continuous operation. Fully featured, entry-level, compact, and lightweight, this device is ideal for optical work in the field.
