Fusion Splicer Fujikura 41S+ (with CT-50 cleaver)
General information
Fujikura 41S+ is a fully ruggedized, V-groove active cladding alignment fusion splicer for SMF (G.652/657), MMF (G.651), DSF (G.653), NZDSF (G.655) single optical fibers.
The Fujikura 41S+ includes core sensing loss estimation technology to provide an accurate assessment of splice loss. Thanks to Warm Splice Imaging (WSI) technology, the Fujikura 41S+ can determine the accuracy of core alignment by evaluating the splice during the heating process. The new Active Fusion Control (AFC) technology improves splice losses for fibers with a poor cleave angle. Combined with Active Blade Management between the splicer and cleaver, the Fujikura 41S+ features a robust set of splicing features that will reduce the likelihood of poor splice installations or repairs.
With 6-second splice time and 25-second shrink time, Fujikura 41S+ offers great speed and productivity, while a touchscreen monitor ensures simple and intuitive menu navigation. Interchangeable sheath clamps or fiber holders provide versatility and compatibility with fusion installable connectors. The extended-life battery is rated for up to 200 splice and heat cycles. Long-life electrodes, lasting 5,000 splices, help minimize downtime for replacement and stabilization. The large 5-inch monitor provides a crystal clear image, even in bright sunlight.
The device comes in a multifunctional case with integrated workstation. Bluetooth® 4.1LE wireless connectivity improves efficiency and reduces maintenance time. Software updates via the internet allow users to quickly update software as new splice programs become available.
